1. Research use only

All products sold by JP Research are raw research materials supplied for in-vitro and laboratory research. They are not drugs, medicines, foods, nutritional products, cosmetics or medical devices, and they are not for human or veterinary use. They have not been evaluated or registered by SAHPRA or any other regulator for any use.

2. Who may buy

Products are sold to organisations and individuals who are qualified to handle research chemicals. By placing an order, the purchaser confirms that the materials will be used for lawful laboratory research only, handled by trained persons under appropriate conditions, and not administered to humans or animals.

We may cancel any order, and refund payment in full, where an order or related correspondence indicates personal, clinical or non-research use.

3. Product form

All products are supplied as lyophilised powder in sealed glass vials and must be reconstituted by the purchaser. We do not supply solvents and give no guidance on administration or application in humans or animals.

4. Pricing and payment

Prices are per unit in South African rand. Volume pricing applies per item: 5-9 units and 10 or more units of the same item. Payment is by EFT. Orders are dispatched once payment has cleared.

5. Dispatch and delivery

Orders are dispatched within 1-3 business days of cleared payment. Standard courier delivery anywhere in South Africa is included in the price and typically takes 2-4 working days after dispatch. Express courier is available for R200.

6. Returns

Because of storage requirements, opened vials cannot be returned. If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will replace or refund it. Full details are on our returns & refunds page.

7. Liability

The purchaser is responsible for compliance with all laws applicable to the purchase, possession, handling and disposal of research chemicals. JP Research accepts no liability for any use of the products other than lawful laboratory research.
